Well NotAnotherNickName, how to prevent war is stop thinking about war and think about peace and I would quote Bob Proctor.

"WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT

Viktor Frankl was a Jewish psychiatrist that spent the war years in a concentration camp. Now I don’t suppose anyone has ever experienced more physical and intellectual abuse than those people that were in those camps. But Viktor Frankl pointed out in a marvelous book ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’, that no-one could force him to think something he didn’t want to think. And you know all the great leaders all down through history, as far back as you want to go, have complete and unanimous agreement on one point, that we become what we think about. Now why is that so? Because we have the freedom to think anything we want, we can originate thoughts or we can pick thoughts just out of the ether, and we can internalize those thoughts; we can bring them together and build beautiful ideas, or we can build terrible ideas…… "

Bob has been inspirational to me and has helped me mentally and spiritually. My business soars now and I am more profitable sharing with others because I think positively about whom I share my findings with.

I hope that helps you find peace.

Ken

I don't think it could be done. But our leaders could be a whole lot wiser than they have been. For example, the VietNam war was a big mistake from the get-go. After many yrs the French pulled out of the war & we took over where they left off.\
Right from the beginning I thot the war in Iraq was a huge mistake. I never trusted Bush & I didn't believe the reasons we were being told warranting our starting a war. I thought the military action in Afghanistan was enough. After all, we were after Al-Quaida & thats where their headquarters was.

I think the Revolutionary & Civil Wars were justified & necessary and, of course, I think we should become involved in the wars of genocide.

We had wars in the old testament up to the present. If war could be prevented we would have figured out how by now.

We, who's we? The human race, the USA, the middle class? What wars do you speak of? The wars between nations, the wars in the midst of nations, the war on drugs? People declare war on a daily basis against something or another. I guess we could prevent war of any kind by simply not caring about anything or standing for anything, or defending ourselves in any manor.

We all could become emotionally dead and then not feel like things have to be vindicated by use of force. Then on the other hand life would be dangerous in other ways.
