you have to practice every day put some signs different places of the court and shoot from there repeat it everyda shoot from ever place at least 25 times best shooting place is crosswise of the rim.
Run with the ball and when you came on the sing make your shot you will be very tired but if you want to be a good basketball player you must do it even arenas is doing it everyday still

You are wise to seek these tips. Shooting lots of shots, as the other person posting here says, with bad form helps you get good at being bad.
Here are a few of the most common shooting flaws. I do not know which is yours without seeing you shoot. First, make sure you are shooting purely one-handed. Keep your off hand from helping push the shot. Grip needs to be off the palm, but also not up on your fingertips. You want one fingerwidth of space between the ball and your palm. Finally, for now, remember to train yourself to "lift and freeze."
Lift means to get your elbow above your eyebrow as you release and freeze means to hold your follow through until the ball hits the basket. Many players drop the follow through too soon and leave shots short.

I played college ball and have coached for a long time; I heard a long time ago that Pistol Pete used to practice shooting in a dimly lit gym...with most of the lights off. When I played in college we practiced doing that some, and I've had my players do that, too. Maybe you could try it some, it couldn't hurt. Good luck to you...I wish you the best...just keep on shootin'.
