The main thing you need to bring is patience for your self and the baby, I would recommend lots of sun protection, sun screen a sun umbrella or shade of some sort, sun glasses ( if you ware them chances are the baby will). Also if you don't want to lug around your own stroller you can rent one from all the parks. I would recommend that the strollers make great places for naps and also somewhere to put your diaper bag and what ever else you have to carry. If you rent a stroller bring a blankie or a towel for the baby to sit on the strollers at MK are hard plastic so they will want something soft to sit on. Also if you can I would pick up a little fan to clip to the stroller, the baby will get hot which means usually fussy! Um take the usual, extra diapers, extra change of clothes or two, there comfy thing, be it a blakie or a stuffie or a toy, when its late and the baby is tired that will come in handy! Also snacks and things like juice and water. Um what am i missing, well things for your self, women products, you don't want to be on ride an get a suprise! deoderant sun screen, but don't over pack you have a baby to hall around you dont' want to be carrying 12 bags as well. A CAMERA so you can take lots of pictures for your memeories! I would reccomed getting on the dinning plan it saves you a lot of money and is really a good deal. THere is a plan that includes your room, food and park ticket, ITS REALLY WORTH IT TRUST ME! ALso it has transportation to and from the air port so no need to rent a car. DISNEY has transportation to all the parks so no need to fuss with a car seat. So this also is why renting a stroller comes in handy you dont have to lug it in and out of a car or bus, you just get it there and drop it when your done. As far as money goes bring a lot its better to come home with some then get there and be stranded! Oh and ther are changing stations and first aid areas at all the parks so you don't have to worry about that! They also have diapers so if you just need one till you get to the hotel thats handy! You can also go on there site. www.disney.com and search all this type of info! Have fun and take lots of pictures!

The big thing to take when traveling with a child that age is BREAKS! I know that isn't what you were after, but Disney World is famous for not only fun, but causing major overstimulation in small children. We've been taking kids starting at 12 months of age for years, and have found visiting a park in the morning and coming back in the afternoon for some pool time and a nap, then off again in the evening has been key to successful Disney trips. All of the parks have baby care stations where you can buy and heat food, buy and change diapers, even clean clothes if you need them - the park maps will tell you where those places are. They are great for parents! You will pay more than you are used to, however. I would recommend bringing along snacks, diapers, change of clothes, plastic bags for dirty clothing, sunscreen, and a hat for sure, plus anything else you think you need. Don't forget your camera!!! You can rent a stroller in the park, and they are always close to the entrance and nice and convenient. Food tends to be our biggest expense when we go; we generally count on at least $20 per person per day; if you can bring snacks, it can help cut down on costs. There is also a meal plan available; you may want to look into that if you haven't done so - I understand it can be a great way to save. Have a wonderful trip!

I live here...SUNBLOCK SPF 45 or higher and apply liberally and often (every hour if necessary) I have seen so many little babies at Disney with skin exposed and turning red because parents weren't aware that their little feet were getting the sun too! This is the number ONE rule.

A sun hat and sunglasses if your little one will wear them.
You already know that travelling with a baby is like going on safari. Be prepared for wet, dry, cold and hot. You won't be enjoying all the things you did sans baby as baby will determine your schedule. Just enjoy what you can and don't get overtired. The sun takes a lot out of you without you even knowing it. Plan rest times, times at the pool, times to just relax. Disney isn't going anywhere and you'll be able to come back again when baby is older to enjoy the things that s/he will appreciate more. Stay in the shade as much as possible.
Whatever you may have forgotten, your concierge should be able to get for you. There are numerous supermarkets and drugstores outside of Disney.
How much money to take? Depends on what you want to do. You could do the whole day at one park and be perfectly happy, remembering that baby will be tired and still on his or her own schedule of eating and sleeping. Try to keep to it.
And having a baby with you while at Disney - it's fun and it's relaxing if you have that attitude.
Have fun!

Toys! I took my 3 year old, my brother had his 2 year with us also, and to our dissapointment they were still too young. They were scared of almost every ride. The castle and characters were great, but there were many attractions that we had to leave through a side door, and many that we just didn't bother with at all! And my dad has worked for Disney my whole life so I've been there a million times. I would bring toys, stuff to keep occupied, and wet wipes are VERY handy for the whole family (bring alot) It gets pretty hot so lots of wipes and bottles.

I would suggest a "Park Hopper Pass" which allows you to come and go out of MGM, Epcot, and Disney as much as you want. You will find that you will be through Disney mid day because of the restrictions of having the baby, so you may want to go over to MGM where they have alot more Baby friendly stuff. It's mainly shows with characters from the disney cartoons and movies. Our group had a much better time there, You can do both if you get to Disney by 9am.

Also, they have strollers they rent out, with ALOT of space, so you may want to go that route, or bring yours and rent one for all the stuff you have to carry!

earplugs...your baby is going to get cranky! it's hot and a long day... bring water, sun screen and most importantly something to shade the baby with. Disney has all kinds of provisions for the little ones so not to worry if you forget something...

The cost? it's expensive to eat there so take snacks. Tickets are nearly 100$ anymore and then depending on how long you stay 1/2 day or more plan on each burger and fries to be about 12$ per person.

You should take a babysitter with you for the baby...seriously. I'm not trying to be a Smart Alec here, but you are not going to have fun carting a baby around that place, especially in that heat! As for money, you should check the website and know what to expect as far as ticket prices go. It's an amusement park so things (food, souvenirs) are expensive.

Disney World has almost everything you need including strollers but you need to take a buttload of money.
