I have a 11 year old son who is so angry and hate the world and angry at the world and everyone else. I have try and try to talk to him but he will not talk about anything. I do not know what to do. He is having trouble in school and his work, he does not listen, and much more. Any one know what to do or where to go.

Since he does not want to discuss things with you, maybe you should send him to a counselor. His school work not being completed/being badly done can get him in real trouble. Personally, I would send him to a counselor at his school if they have one. They might have a better understanding is to what is bothering him especially if it is involving another student/teacher. Get a teacher or counselor at his school or maybe a youth director at a church to talk to him and try to find out what's going on....just don't give up!

maybe you and your son need to spend more time together. ask him what he would like to do. maybe you 2 should try a family counslor. sometimes they help. the main thing is you need to communicate with each other. you try and open up to him, he just might open up to you. good luck.

Sometimes when children are being bullied at school they are embarrassed to discuss it, and it definitely makes them feel like they hate the world and affects schoolwork.

I'm about his age and the boys in my grade are all like that. i have older cousins and have learned that it is just a phase.if you show him the good things n life like music, movies and dare i say it girls, he will grow out of it.
