it's kind of groundhog day type dream except that it is very short and
it does repeat (and repeat)
the most clear version is where I am sleeping under a ceiling fan and
like a strobe of a strobiscope I see / feel/ dream the fan move about
a part of a revolution
undeniably this may be some non sleep / semi awake phenomenon

I have had other dreams that had this "skip in the record" repetivness
(an outstreached hand from another, willing to shake hands, saying hello)
over and over
rather boring I might say

ever have anything like this?
ever hear of anyone else reporting this?

do you have name for it?

(repetitive parts of dreams too short to have a narrative)

thank you

everyone interprets dreams differently. Some say they are trying to tell you, you need to fix something in your life. I used to have the same dream over and over when I was little. It was always about this huge ball that got smaller and smaller the closer it got to me, until it was just a tiny speck right in front of my face. Never figured out what it was all about and used to drive me nuts.
Does any part of your dream express parts of your personality? Do you jump from thing to thing without finishing anything?

I read this passage in a book by Eva Renee Neu ,that I just love..---Dreams are everyone's art in that they express us metaphorically, and also in the very fact that they baffle the conscious mind---repeating messages over and over trying to tell us something.
What that something is, who knows.

Your dreams are boring.
Maybe you should eat something before you go to bed so you can have more interesting dreams.
