I, somehow, believe that it does up to about 80%. The other 20% goes to your two bordering zodiacs. Us cancers are ultra sensitive...I'm 11% gemini and 9 % leo...always read your neighboring zodiacs as well...

cancer here and yes i do
wish i didn't sometimes though
Cancer, the fourth Sign of the Zodiac, is all about home. Those born under this Sign are 'roots' kinds of people and take great pleasure in the comforts of home and family. Cancers are maternal, domestic and love to nurture others. More than likely, their family will be large, too -- the more, the merrier! Cancers will certainly be merry if their home life is serene and harmonious. Traditions are upheld with great zest in a Cancer's household, since these folks prize family history and love communal activities. They also tend to be patriotic, waving the flag whenever possible. A Cancer's good memory is the basis for stories told around the dinner table, and don't be surprised if these folks get emotional about things. Those born under this Sign wear their heart on their sleeve, which is just fine by them.
The mascot of Cancerians is the Crab, and much like this shelled little critter, Cancerians are quick to retreat into their shells if it suits their mood. No wonder these folks are called crabby! For Cancer, it's not that big of a deal, though, since they consider this 'shell' a second home (and they do love home). The flip side of this hiding is that shell-bound Crabs are often quite moody. Further, in keeping with their difficulty in sharing their innermost feelings, it can become a Herculean task to pry a Crab out of its secret hiding place. What to do? Give the Crab time -- eventually these folks will come out to play again. When they do, they'll be the first to say so, in keeping with the Cardinal Quality attached to this Sign. It's said that Crabs are first to laugh and first to cry, so you can bet they'll fill you in. That shell, by the way, isn't the only tough thing about Crabs. These folks are tenacious and strong-willed and like to get their way. If their well-documented kindness and gentleness doesn't do the trick, however, they're not above using emotional manipulation to make things happen. If that still doesn't work, they'll just go back to their shell and sulk, or find a way to get back at the source of their pain, since Crabs can be rather vindictive. That said, any self-respecting Crab would tell you that they are ultimately motivated by protecting their home and loved ones, a most noble goal.

I'm a Leo. Sun sign, rising sign, and three other planets and I guess I get upset easily at stupid people but I get over being upset very quickly as well. I never hold grudges.
I feel offended sometimes by the asumption that a Leo is all arrogance and vanity. I've been in theatre and generally take center stage in any situation because I'm a good organizer, but I'm on the cusp of Cancer and I reflect that as well. I can give a dinner party and play hostess for two dozen people BUT I don't want to. The moon child in me prefers a night at home with a movie and a cup of cocoa.
I think everyone is too complex to be nailed down by astrology but it's a fun diversion like numerology. My ex (an Aries) used to say Leos love to take the lead, we just don't know where the hell we're going.

Let me be the 74th person to answer ya question.. :P
I am a Taurus and at some extend I reflect my sign, I am stubborn, as I read all the Taurus people posted they say they are stubborn too, poor all people around us! But I am not possessive or jealous. I believe everyone is free to do whatever as long as do not harm the others or him/herself. I am not down to the earth as well, I am a dreamer. I do not like materials things that much. But yeah, I get offense easily on a slight provocation.
I have several Scorpio friends, and I had read somewhere the Taurus is the side to dominate at that friendship. I have 4 Scorpio friends and they all dominate over me I could say, I am the one to listen their advices or to compromise first when we disagree, so it izn't absolutely accurate what the horoscope says. Just need to see the things how they apply on the practice to make a better conclusion of what is exactly the truth about the zodiac conception.

I'm a Sagittarius, and I do reflect my zodiac sign very much. I have plenty of Leo's in my family as well as my boyfriend. I think Leo's are great. They are hot heads, but they have other great traits about them. Libra's are easy going like you said. I tend to be attracted to Libra and Leo men. It's funny you had named these two signs. As a Sagittarian I'm very blunt, and honest. I'm also very laid back, adventurous, and compassionate. I love learning new things, and meeting people. Especially different cultures. I also love animals of all kinds very much. I'm always on the side of the underdog, and I suffer from the foot in the mouth disease that almost all Sagittarius people have. There's a lot more I could list about me, but it would take all day. Great question you asked!!!

Besides the zodiac sign,we're supposed to be influenced by our ascendant and the planets of our solar system.Think the horoscope as an equation with 13 variables! As an Aquarious,I may have some things in common with others of the same signbut since my ascendant is Virgo,I express myself and act as a Virgo and since the most of the planets are in earth signs of my horoscope,I am looking more like an earth sign (a Capricorn for instance) than an Aquarious.
The solar sign is what you are made of,the ascendant is what you do with it and the planets are the variables that affect your behaviour and luck in the variour aspect of life, the 12 houses.
Only a personal horoscope from a descent proffessional can tell you things about yourself, what you read in the papers, most probably is nonsense...

I've never read a description of a Libra that was anything other than what I am. I fit it perfectly. A little rigid and structured, artistic, liberal, handsome, stand out in a crowd, perfectionist, balanced, freethinking.. the zodiac's "renaissance man." It all works.
I even have a book called Sextrology that describes the way each of the signs looks in appearance, and its description of the Libra male is me.

Well, ok, I have never really belived in horoscopes but a couple weeks back my friends and I, (like six of us I belive) went into our school library because we didnt want to be in seminar. On one of the shelves in the back we found a series of books about the Zodiac signs and we were all like O.O! Haha, thats really what it was like because all of the zodiac signs really matched our personalities. Also in the back it told you what you would be like with every other Zodiac sign in bed....we had fun with that. But its ok to be that immature sometimes since were all only 13 anyway.

I'm an Aires. My sign reflects what I expect it too. In fact we can all believe what ever we want to. I believe that using the zodiac to live your life by is a total waste of time and limiting to your real potential.
Spend your time planning what you want to be and working the plan. That's the "real" way to get the most out of life!

No, sorry, I don't believe all that. I went to school where there were 42 pupils in one class, all the same age and most sharing the same zodiac sign, boy were we all different!
I think the DNA and environment we are brought up in has a lot to do with the kind of person we are.
Gemini, for your information.
