For anyone who has ever done debate, i need help with an oratory topic. I'm trying to make mine slightly humourous, and while it should try to persuade the judge, i don't want a serious topic. I want something like should we have day light savings time or not.

* The Evils of Reality TV - Should it be banned?

* Should there be a salary cap for professional sports players to make it more in line with the work that they do?

* Should Women (or men, your choice!) be allowed to vote? (or drive - you could have fun with either, arguing that only ONE gender should be allowed the privlige!)

* Should dihydrogen monoxide be banned? (It's water - I've attached a link to Penn & Teller doing a petition passing to get it banned - they get hundreds of signatures!)

* Should we elect the President of the US by choosing the person who LEAST wants the job?

* School Uniforms - good idea, or bad?

* Should children be raised by professionals instead of their biological parents?
