Just found out only Micheal Anthony and Sammy Hagar attended the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony last Monday. Last week I read Eddie checked himself into rehab.

Makes you wonder...After all the bad blood between him and DL Roth, I wondered if the actual band playing/touring reunion that is supposedly going to happen would really happen...and if it was some record company publicity stunt...Supposedly they are getting back together with DL Roth, except for Michael Anthony, who is being replaced by his son...

Good question! I'd heard Eddie has been whacked lately, and some references to him living a "MJ" kinda life - ya know, secretly secluded in the comfort of 5150 studios. The whole "Theres a tour / theres no tour" thing just pisses me off, and i'm starting to think i've been duped. I'm also starting to think that Eddie designed this whole mess in order to generate hype and buzz about his new EVH company that has re-created the "Frankenstein" guitar - replete with black / white / red paint scheme, ciggarette burns on the headsock , 1971 quarter drilled and screwed into the body, rust re-creations , etc. blah blah, and the price tag on these 300 limited issues on this guitar.......a measly $25.000.00....each , i kid you not.

i'm merely happy I observed them on the beginning up of the excursion while Eddie actual appeared rejuvenated on the point. From what I study in comments, it wasn't long after he got here to Boston while issues started going downhill in this excursion. i think of as quickly as they introduced the excursion replaced into 50 dates or despite, human beings started putting bets on how long it might take previously they cancelled shows. stunned that it wasn't a combat w/ DLR, yet no longer stunned it in touch Eddie.

No, he went to rehab to fight an addiction. He didn't go to the ceremony because David Lee would probably have slugged him.
