Do as much research as you can on the web and keep asking questions here.
You'll get a couple of silly answers that won't help you but you'll also get a lot of info that will make the move easier.

Yes research is the key maybe look at what part of Oz you might like to live in and than refine your research to that particular state/area

hey, enjoy your stay.
you should think about where you want to go and what you want to see.
First step: Plan your flight, where to go, when to go and return.
Take care that the costs to change the flight dates would not be to expensive.
Do not plan to much, because it is not seldom that you meet people at one place and decide to travel with them and do things spontanously or to change your route of travel while you are on your tour..
