Love them when they are least lovable.
Be Kind, loving, fair.
Kids know you better than yourself sometimes. They know when you mean it and when you don't.
Be prepared for anything.
Be patient.
Notice the child who doesn't get noticed by anyone else.
Make children feel special to you. They adore you.

i want to be a teacher but i belive being firm, willing to help (tutoring before after chool would be great) following up with students and have parent teacher confrences, i used to hat that but graduated on time so it did help.
