Patience, ability to think outside the box, ability to inspire and motivate, excellent communication skills (especially the ability to present the same concept in several different ways so more people are able to grasp it), the ability to see things from other's points of view

He is the one who strives to make the child independent.
He is the one who incorporates life skills and living skills in his teaching.
He is the one who makes learning a pleasure for the learner.

Love them when they are least lovable.
Be Kind, loving, fair.
Kids know you better than yourself sometimes. They know when you mean it and when you don't.
Be prepared for anything.
Be patient.
Notice the child who doesn't get noticed by anyone else.
Make children feel special to you. They adore you.
Love them ALL.

i want to be a teacher but i belive being firm, willing to help (tutoring before after chool would be great) following up with students and have parent teacher confrences, i used to hat that but graduated on time so it did help.
