i had my period the first month, but i am still waiting for the next one...i feel like throwing up, and my belly is not flat like before, but i eat a lot , so i am not sure if i should just wait a little more or just get a pregnancy test

if you are just getting your menstral for the first time, then it could be your body just adjusting to the different hormones. Most girls have a period and odd symptoms untill they finally level out around age 16 or so. meaning you could have one and then skip 3months and then have some for a year, and skip here and there. Now if you are having sex during this time it will be very hard to tell if you are prego or not. You can take a test-but its more reliable to get doctor advice and see for sure. He will prolly suggest Birth control especially if you are sexually active. this will control your periods and help prevent pregnancy but it is not fool proof. drinking can cause an interuption to the birth control hormones and antibiotics and sometimes even tylenol. not many people think about that when they are on it. I would suggest waiting a while to see what happens and then after around 2weeks after your *missed period* take a home test, and even if it comes out negative, if you dont get your period in a few days go to the doctor. home tests are not always correct.

From experience yes you can have a period after becoming pregnant its truly a false period but you bleed non the less. You may have noticed whether or not it was lighter....if you were only a month or so you probably wouldnt be showing though. I suggest getting a test for piece of mind...If you look around you can find them as cheap as a dollar at the dollar tree, or go to the health department or christian charity, they will perform the test for free. Its amazing what the power of the mind can do to your body, so might as well get confirmation.

Are sexually active? Did you have sex in the last month? Was it protected sex? If you think that you might be than I would spend the 10 bucks and get a test. It will probably be the best 10 bucks you ever spent.

Any time you suspect yourself of being pregnant it's a good idea to take a test. Then again, you could be stressed.

yes you are now fertile...but i doubt you are pregnant. It takes time for a belly to show...maybe you are just gaining a lil weight...and THAT is better than being pregnant now!! :)
