I think the show was on Fox, I know it came on right next to The X Files. I don’t even remember the main guys name but he was a tall slim guy with I think wavy thinning in front hair, and he had a fog horn voice. In the show he worked for the government and would get visions of how a murder was committed, and was working against the “EVIL” side. In one episode they were looking for a piece of the crucifix because it would give powers, or something.
It has been off the air for a while, maybe 10 yrs. A co worker said his log on password in the show was soylent green. I must find out the name of the show before he does.

The name of the show was Millennium and my husband and I loved it. Lance Henriksen played Frank Black and the passphrase he used to get in the system was "Soylent Green is people".

Millennium. It ran on Fox from 1996 to 1999.
