Abortion is wrong- no matter the circumstances. When a baby is conceived there is life- no matter how he/she was conceived. Granted being pregnant with a baby that was conceived by a rapist would be hard - but can anyone tell me, how that can be the baby's fault? The Bible says in Deut- that we are not to punish the children for the father's sin. Besides the fact the number of woman having abortions due to rape is the lowest percentage - did you know that highest? It is because the woman is just not ready to be a parent. Abortion not only takes the life of a child- but it can damage a woman- physically and emotionally. Those that say that Roe V. Wade made abortion safe- is not seeing the truth. There are many women, I have talked with them, that carry around the pain of knowing that they aborted their children. Also there are infections, and excessive bleeding- miscarriages and not being able to get pregnant can happen in future pregnancies.

Why do people always answer these questions with things like "I don't think it's right, unless a woman was raped."
How is that the baby's fault? How would it be right that the punishment for someone else's crime is paid by an innocent child?
What if YOU were the product of rape? I'm sure some of us are and will never know it. Would you think that YOU should have been aborted?

I don't agree with abortion unless rape was involved. Other wise you should deal with the situation you got yourself into, or at least give the baby up for adoption, you may not want to be a parent right now but there are loads of people out there who want it badly and can't.

I do not agree with abortion except in one instance...If someone were raped, then I believe in it...but otherwise, there are so many parents out there waiting and looking for babies...Why have an abortion, when so much happiness can come from such a beautiful little creature...???

not the right choice, only if rape is invovled. that could be hard to have a baby from that view point. abortion is not a birth control method. if young people want to have sex, use something if you don't want a child. if you don't want to use anything then keep your junk in your pants.

Personally, I am against it, because I think it is murder. (In most cases) I don't think that the child should be punished for the parents mistakes. Everyone deserves a chance at life. Unfortuantley some don't get that choice.

if the child would be given to an orphanage or has a potential for dying on the streets because of lack of care, i think, by all means, choose abortion. if the mother and/or father is still in high school (or lower), they should choose abortion. but if the baby will be loved by the parents (who are both over 18) and will grow up in a loving home, save it. think of the baby's own good for its later life, not just "now".

Against it, the girl shouldn't have opened her legs in the first place. Just have the baby and put it up for adoption. Of course there are exceptions, like if the girl was forced to have sex, but that's different.

why do people but questions up here like that especially on pregnancy questions. People on this is trying to get answers about baby's and their pregnancies not trying to kill an instead baby that didn't even asked to be here in the first place i think that if you do the deed then you need to care for your responsibility i hope that help a lot. THEY ARE VERY WRONG!!!!!!!!!
