When someone we love dies. Finding out your pregnant, your first love, when your husband cheats and leaves we seem to remember pleasue and pain not the mundane and it is the mundane that gets us from birth to death whith sprinkles of pleasure and pain that test, the will of the person and the desire to live, life seems to be better the more we give. Sorry, started to rhyme. I remember the first time I was seriously depressed and thought of killing myself. I remember my first orgasm I remember the safest and happiest place as a child was at Grandma and Grandpa's, I remember the innocene I had as a youth, my belief in Santa, I remember my first day at a new school, the pain of feeling like an outcast, I remember the first time I felt like someone understood me and took my thoughts and feelings seriously, I remember the first time I wrote something of importance and how much joy it brought me. We remember that which defines us as a person, that pivitol moment when we have a choice and if we make the wrong one, we remember, if we make the right one, we don't always recall that unless the choice lead to a great reward. I remember when my mother slapped me, or my sisters picked on me, I remember my best friend when I was 5 years old. I remember the struggles and insecurities I suffered in puberty, I remember the first time I held hands with a guy, the first time I did pretty much anything with a guy, I remember my sorrows far better then my pleasure's, but alot of my sorrows I brought on myself. I remember my first connection with God, and I remember my first poem. I am randomly writing trying to throw some good one's out for you to brainstorm, sorry it got so long, good look on your paper.

First time you have sex.
First broken heart.
First scary movie.
The one that got away.
Time you laughed so hard that some bodily function failed you (milk through nose, fell off chair...)
A positive smell, sense of the weather, how the sky looked first time you are truly happy and content.
What you were doing right before an incredibly traumatic event (9/11, Kennedy's assasignation, car accident, etc.)
