I would stick by her and dump the rest. True friends don't decide that someone just isn't good enough to hang out with anymore.

If this were my friend I would not care what others thought. What if they decide you are not good enough for them? By the way, what makes one person better than another? The Bible says, judge not that ye be not judged. It also says that whatever we do to the least among us we do to Jesus. Just a little food for thought. I think you might be moving up in the world if you ditched your so-called "friends".

First of all how could you even consider the people you hang out with friends? They sound like closed minded teenagers that need to grow up. If this is really your friend as you say you wouldnt let other people treat her like that. Otherwise your just like them so sell your soul now. On the otherhand if you are really this girls friend them grow a pair and stand up for her and what you belive in!!!

u and that friwnd need 2 find new friends that wont turn their backs on u at the drop of a hat. Ppl can do bad all by themselves, they dont need added drama 4rum so called fake friends. Pray and ask God 2 put positive ppl in u and her lives;also ask gos 2 give her strength and wisdom while meeting new prospects.Good luck, ur a good friend

I would not let the voices of others decide if I am a friend to someone or not. A true friend would not say someone is not good enough. This sounds childish and shallow.

Carry on being her friend so she knows you are there for her. Her so called circle of friends are not worth even being friends with. Encourage her to meet new friends. There should be lots of clubs, forums and bars etc where she can meet new (nicer friends)
Go with her so she feels better about it.

I have felt the same way.. just encourage her, stay her friend & tell her that there are plenty of other people out there. I didn't find out who my true friends were until graduation day. So I struggled for a long time. She'll be fine, just tell her that you'll be there for her & that she'll make new friends, TRUE friends

Why is she not good enough???????????????
Let me tell you nobody is any better than anyone else so if your friends want to be like that than i would stick with the upset girl and forget the rest.Nobody needs friends like that cause thats not what friends are or do.MOVE ON!!

Well, it depends. Why did they decide she was not good enough? Eh, if you think they're being petty and mean and it were me, I'd tell my 'friends' exactly what I thought of them. I don't do the girly gossiping and back stabbing, I'd just outright tell them off. Then I'd probably cut them off and tell my rejected friend that those 'friends' were idiots and that we don't need them. Then I'd go on with my daily life.
