i was wondering b/c i was wondering if theres any truth to this??

ha ha ha NO I DONT THINK SO and most of the time they are cut, tied and burned.

It sounds like an old wive's tale to me. I'm not sure, but I don't think tubes are tied in the sense that they look like a bow or a knot. I believe they are merely sealed or clamped, and any kind of physical stress would have little bearing on them becoming "untied". Someone has been filling your head with tall tales. Don't pay any attention to such things. If you want an educated medical opinion, consult the surgeon who did the operation.

If that were true they wouldn't re-connect themselves. But it's not true. I was told when I was pregnant with my first child that I shouldn't raise my arms over my head or the umbilical cord would wrap around the baby's neck! (This also is not true...I painted the house and even did a patch job on the porch roof while I was pregnant and that kid has graduated from college and has 2 kids of her own...so much for old wives tales!

No but hey if you need to use that to get help with the heavy lifting go for it. I can see where that could work.

Not true. Lifting cannot affect your tubes.

I don't think so if the Dr. did a good job when he gave you the operation........ask him.
