when yo parents see or hear an oldschool rapper or artist and they go all crazy?!! And they all like " That is the joint! You youngins don't know nuthin bout that!" I freakin hate when they say that cuz the next minute they be like " Oooo I like that song. Who sings that?!" wheneva they here one of the so called "new-school" songs. It's like one minute they dissin it, then the next they boppin they head to it. I hate when my parents do that! UGH! What do some of yall got to say?! I mean I aint got nothin against oldschool rap but they were just like us wit posters on they walls and screamin when they heard they favorite rapper on the radio!Stupid.

LOL...My parents do that too. I can picture them when they were a teenager listening to the same music I listen too. Parents always complain about their kids music, when secretly they like some of it. My dad is usually the one that embarrassed me the most, especially when we are in the car and a song is playing. Don't feel bad all parents do this to their kids. Parents just want to protect you and do the right thing by you, so don't get upset just appreciate them for it.

Yes exactly.....On the other hand they have been there and done that, so they know what things you will deal with 10 years down the road, and they are trying to spare you.... Trust your parents they know what is best...... Trust me, I moved out into my own place not to long ago, so I am young and I am thankful my parents protected me. I realize more and more everyday how much my parents protected me, when I used to get annoyed......

I listen to Punk/emo stuff so my mom hates it, but as hard to believe it parents were kidds too! and they just want to make a connection with you or there child, let them be and ignore them.
