I know it wouldn't be libel as I have documented evidence. Any other legal reason why I shouldn't do this?

Besides the fact that it's shallow, if it's already public information, you can post it anywhere. Just make sure that when you are slamming her for what she has done, you stick to the facts or add "I think" (which makes it your personal opinion....freedom of speech) in front of everything you say.

But honey, in all honesty...this is high school stuff. If you really want to get back at them, take some bill from the hospital, use a sheet of paper and cover up everything but the heading. Then make a copy. You'll end up with what appears to be Hospital stationary. Then type a letter on it informing her that your husband has aids and she needs to be tested since she was listed as one of his sexual partners. Then do the same with your husband and say she has aids. Don't do it now, but in about six months. Trust me on this. They'll be scared to death until they actually get the courage to call the doctor and make an appointment. It's cruel, but I was cheated on and to this day, my husband has no idea and continues to get his six month check up. It's been 8 yrs and when I decide to truly let it all go....I may just let him in on my "getting even" scheme. I never had what it took to cheat myself, but giving back what you got really does take the sting off a little.

Wish ya luck!

You can be telling nothing but the truth and get sued and
convicted of Slander or Libel....
It is a common misconception that the truth is not Slander or Libel...
You do not have legal authority to punish or cause damage
to other people who have done wrong...This is reserved
for the Courts...

I personally wouldn't do anything that links you to her name, she's just not worth it. Someday she may truly regret what she did, hopefully she will. It's just a sad fact in our society, so many people cheat, it's hard to find the faithful ones. I truly have given up on love, I find it rarely exists anymore. You need to rise above her and don't sink to her level. She's a loser and isn't worth wasting any of more of your time on her.

You could be sued for slander, and trashing someone's reputation. She could argue that it was consentual and now her rep is bad.

But I have to wonder, what would get out of this? Other than an immediate sense of satisfaction, why would you want strangers knowing your s**t? (obviously, Yahoo answers is full of strangers, but your blog is going to be more specific) I don't know, it just sounds like inviting a lot of baaaaad karma.

I don't think there are any legal ramifications. She's the one who best worry about that. I'd imagine you could cause her some serious trouble if you researched it and were willing to prosecute him too, just to get to her.

She could claim Defamation of Character, slander,
mental anguish, the list goes on and on. Instead, put in in large print in Ads section of local paper. DO NOT USE YOUR REAL NAME. or NUMBER

GO FOR IT!!! Revenge is sweet. Screw these people who say forgiveness.... let your anger give you power for a while, then let it go.
