First of all let's take Lebron out of that question because he hasn't even made it past the second round in the pathetic east, no match for Mike. D Wade can stay in the discussion as far as championships because he and Shaq would hvae made it harder for the Bulls. Kobe would have been real competition as far as who is the better player not only because he has three championships but because he is the closest thing there is to Jordan, (he plays both ends Lebron and Wade dont do that, he has the range Wade doesn't and the ability to completely take over a game and no matter how much you want to believe that Bron and Wade can do they they havn't completely shown they can.). I would pay good money to see them play against each other in their prime, but considering their teams also I say Jordan only wins four and Kobe two if they play at the same time. And since he has more ring he would be the better player by a slight margin.

Considering that he has played against Kobe and schooled him, he's out of the equation. Yes he would still be the best of his time against D-Wade and LeBron too. The better question would be if he'd still be the best if he played against Dr. J, George Gervin, and Doug Collins regularly.

He still would be the best but he wouldn't have won all of those championships. Back when MJ played all he had to do was beat up on teams led by Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone. I'd say he would have won about 3 championships.

well jordan did play against isaiah thomas, magic, bird, stockton, malone, clyde the glide drexler, barkley, dunked on ewing, mourning, hakeem, david robinson, and killed the hearts out of the cleveland cavs fans plenty of times jst like utah and others, i think he might be able to handle them. they are good, in fact better then good, BUT who are they playing against? players are getting younger and lack skills, kobe right now, the best. jordan.... greatest of all time

yes without a doubt, but kobe could be a contender if he had a little more class and self respect

he would be even better because all the rules are for guards now and against big men. Jordan got all the calls and he would get even more now.

i have no doubt about it. if you look at how long hes played and how he not only raises himself to the limit he brings in his team which is what most people these days dont do.
