I was watching NFL network and they said the Brady is only the 6th best qb in the game right now, behind guys like Marc Bulger. Is this for real, is Marc Bulger really a better qb then Marc Bulger. Ive always felt that Manning was the best qb in the league and Bradys was the second but the 6th best, jeez is this for real?

Patroits won superbowls based on having a great DEFENSE.

The best QB seldom strings together SB wins.

Brady is a good QB no question... But he also is a product of a good team.. He has a strong arm, good decision making abilities, a great leader, and doesn't turn the ball over.. To rate him as one of the best I also feel thats stretching it a bit. Yes he has some rings, but that doesn't automatically qualify you as the best.. It takes the entire team to win a superbowl, and Brady has been blessed with playing on a great team.. But you also have to look at it like this.. IF he played on the Raiders or Dolphins... would anyone be talking about him as one of the best??
If you are to judge on superbowl rings why is it that the center, guards tackles, and the defense are not being said to be the best in the league too?? Come on people.. Lets not just judge on rings!

That is an interesting question. The topic of "who is the best QB" is a subject to varying methods of evaluation. Bulger would not rank too highly on my list, simply because he has always been surrounded by offensive talent. We can see now how he fares with aging targets, aging and depleted O-line and no Marshall Faulk in the backfield.

I am not a Pats fan, myself, but I do have to respect the success that Tom Brady has had, given his situation. He has dealt with a rotating-door policy in regard to receivers. His running backs have been pretty versatile which has helped, but a QB as young as Brady being able to adjust year-to-year to the fluxuations in his receivers and still regularly visit the post-season, deserves my respect.

I would not be too quick to vote Manning as best-ever at the QB position, though either. I definitely think Manning is the most cunning, intelligent QB I can recall, but he does lack raw talent. He has held a remarkable work ethic and that has helped to compensate for a physical talent deficiency, but ultimately the man still throws ducks occasionally. He will always need receivers with exceptional hands for him to remain successful.

Brady has probably the best overall mixture of skills of the active NFL QBs. He handles D-line pressure pretty well too, something Manning struggles with constantly. Those who say the Pats' defense has always been stellar is jaded. The defense has always been well-coached, but they have several holes. You just rarely see the holes because the schemes get mixed up so well during games.

He's not that bad. I think he gets a lot more credit than he deserves. He's a system QB. Where if you took him and another team signing him, he wouldn't do all that great. Where the best QBs ever, could lead anyteam. I'm actually not sure why they're so high on Bulger, he's OK but hasn't really done anything. Rating QBs is stupid anyways. There's not exact science to it, it's all opinion. Quit listening to stupid rankings and just watch the games and enjoy the wins.

Whoever said that only said it because Bulger made the Pro Bowl last year ans Brady did not.Brady to me is a way better QB than Bulger.Bulger had some good WR's last year but Brady had terrible ones.Brady still put up some awesome numbers tho.So Bulger had his days already but Brady still has many more. Plus Brady has more superbowl rings.

Who on the NFL network said Bulger was a better QB than Brady?? Brady is one of the best in the game and the best playoff QB in the NFL right now. I think between him and Manning its hard to objectively say who is better. Colts fans say Brady sucks and Pats fans say Manning sucks, but they're both great QBs and are the two best playing the game right now.

The reason brady's stats have him ranked at 6th best is because the pats run the ball alot and really have never had a big name reciever but with the recievers he has and that intangible of finding ways to win not to mention he has about 120,000 dollars worth of diamonds on three of his fingers,I personally think that would put him at #1 in the league,Peyton Manning is a good QB but I would like to see the numbers he would have had with the recievers brady has had.Think of Manning as Drew Bledsoe with great recievers thats how I see him.

No, that's the opinion of one person...and that's a rarity because most people view Brady as the best QB in the league or second best. The rings do the talking and as much as I dislike the Patriots, he's done a hell of a job with that almost joke of a WR core. He'll only get better with a real receiver catching his passes.

Analyst's are morons..... you can talk about skills and ability all you want, it all comes down to performance, did he go out and help his team win, did he help them to the playoffs, did he help them to the Superbowl, did he help them win it all. It doesn't matter if he is surrounded by a great team or a average team because its his team and its all he has to work with.
So for the current decade the best QB is Tom Brady (and i say that as a Dallas fan who thinks the best in the 90's was Troy Aikman) followed by Manning and they have no close competition.

So not true......Brady is an awesome QB......the fact that he didnt win the superbowl is why they put him that low on the list. But everyone should be watching out for Vince Young......He will be a beast this year!
