I am what one would call an impulse buyer but the worst thing is that i will research whatever it is until i get it, i am only 14, so i will just keep researching or being obsessed over things. Then like 3 weeks later i am over it. So my question is this does anyone know any way i could try to avoid this from happening or stop my evil ways lol?

Thanks for everyones opinion but i am also somewhat of an impulse buyer, i see, then research, then buy, then i am done. For example i will buy a wii for $250 after saving for about half a year and then a month later its like peace see ya later and i will sell it for 170 so just lost 80 bucks and now no wii. I am starting to realize though that certain things are pointless. I downloaded a 10 day demo of warcraft (i know sounds nerdy) and played it nonstop for 3 days and was then like wtf am i doing this game is fun but hell i don't need to be addicted.

You are definitely not an impulse buyer. If you were then you would not do research. Impulse buyers don't do research, they just buy and then buy stuff they don't need. Have you ever noticed how some people think they need something, finally get it, and after a week don't use it anymore? Exercises equipment is a good example. You want it, you use it a week or two, then it sits, and sits, and sits, until you have your big yard sale. Christmas is another good example. People are so excited with what they get and then never use it. Lol. Have a good one and don't be so hard on yourself. Mmm

Don't Worry. I'm 14 and do the same. I just bought a Canon Powershot A540 off of Amazon for $170. It came with a printer and it was a great deal. No worries. At least by researching the products you'll know what's a good deal and what's a bad one. It's awctually a great way to learn the art of the bargain.

Sorry, Marcus. I can't help you because I have the same problem. I will research everything from jewelry to skin care. But unlike you, I don't get over it in 3 weeks. I don't get over it until I buy something! Meanwhile, the bills keep mounting. So, do yourself a favor and stop your evil ways now (lol) before you end up like me!! You're only 14, save yourself NOW!!

Chanting the Maha Mantra is the best way to rid oneself of all addictions. We are in the material world called Maya (illusion) it is temporary and full of misery. We are not this body, mind or senses yet we think we are. We think material things will fix our mental or emotional pain, but it never does. If one wants to get over all these diseases (material addictions and afflictions) then they have to realize their constitutional position as spirit soul, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. Go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada For how to rid oneself of all addictions and come to our true self and nature.
