how many compartments compose the ovary? whats located in each compartment?
(i am talking about plants)

The compartments are called carpels.
The number of carpels depends on which plant it is. Some plants have one, some have three, some have five, some have many.

The carpels contain the ovules that will eventually become the seeds.
