At what point will it become impossible to live in the U.S.?

At what point will it become impossible to live in the U.S. I mean I love this country but seriously when is it going to be too expensive to live here. It's funny how our parents and grandparent generations think so much about our future but they don't realise how expensive it's getting. For example, utilities. At what point will it become too expensive to heat your home. I mean I've lived in New England and had $400 gas bills. And that's not all. How about the other utilities, rent/mortgage,taxes, gasoline, food, clothes etc. Anyone with the authority to do something should think about their children. I can't even imagine paying $10 for a candy bar, but that's how it will be in 20 or 40 years. And if they think they don't have to worry about that because they have money in the family then remember this "there needs to be a lower and middle class to be an upper class. In the future i see desperate people starving, looting and burning down your kid's and grand kids homes to get food. Hope it never comes down to that

The concept of a "middle class" was a fluke of the 1950's era. The "middle class" as we know it sprang into being in the post-war years and has been steadily fading ever since it's birth. Soon it will be back to the way it was for centuries before, a society stratified into 2 layers: The rich elite and everyone else. Sad, eh?

i don't think rent, gas, food, and clothes count as utilities. In fact, many of these things are cheap. You want cheap clothes, go to walmart and buy their $12 jeans. I'm 26 now and candy bars at walmart are 44 cents. When I was a kid I used to buy them at the store for 45 cents. Sometimes you can get them on sale 4/$1. I live in NJ and can't imagine $400 gas bills. What the heck were you heating? Do you only have 3 walls in your house? I mean, it has been a very mild winter except for about 2-3 weeks total. I really can't imagine you having that high of a bill during this past winter. Heck, it was almost 70 in NYC today, so are you having your heat on now too? Geez

They were saying the same thing 40 years ago- they also said world wide famine would ensue by 1990, and a race war would erupt by 1995.

Every year some there are more and more "prophets of doom"
Could it be possible that things might actually get better?

It is impossible for me already. If it werent for others helping, they would steal my God given children because I could not financially give them what they expect me to give them, I am considering leaving it already. If all my kids would agree, we would save the money and go back to where my great grandparents immigrated from !!
It isnt just the finances though, the stress from the POLLUTION of my consitution, and many other issues makes me ill. Like dilution of patriotism, and I could go on and on, ugh, new religions that are trying to taint the original foundation of the country that are to STUPID to realize its the BIBLE and its BELIEVERS that made the CONSTITUTION that gives them the rights they have, they want to PUSH it to far into our society !! MOST OF IT IS LIES too, trying to REWRITE our american HISTORY..Musslemans to be exact, are trying to LIE to change our history, create abuse, and many other sordid things !!

I hate change and am very biased NOT TO DO IT to my country !!

i dunno i already moved out of the country but then came back a year ago cause i couldnt make any money, now i make great money but everything is so expensive
