Please tell me what is the difference?

Okay, my question is this: Is there a difference between looking at porn pics and videos and reading erotica stories? My hubby used to have a porn addiction that made it very hard to continue in a healthy relationship. We finally overcame that problem. However, something that gets me excited is erotica stories. Do you consider that the same as what he did? He would take the mags and look at the women then want to "work it out" with me. I didn't feel like he wanted me. With the stories, it's just ideas and talk that does the trick. I feel that it is very different. What do you think and why do you feel that way?

I feel the pics and stories would be the same thing...if the purpose of both of them is to make one excited or sexually aroused, then to me there isn't a difference. But then it's all in how you view the stories, do they interfer with your relationship to your husband, family...etc, if not, then I would say it's alright for you, but as for him, it's not alright cause it almost came between the two of you.
