PS2 - I liked the Final Fantasy series and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.
Xbox 360 - Oblivion is nice but I'm currently playing the mmorpg Final Fantasy XI.

Well for the PS2 I would say Final Fantasy X. I haven't played XII, but I heard it was amazing. The 360 doesn't really have any rpg's. Blue Dragon is suppose to be good but it's not out in America yet. I think it comes out in august.

360 has no good rpg's as of yet. Kameo is pretty good and probably the besto ne out there so far. On PS2 Legacy of Kain, the Soul Reaver and Blood Omen series, fantastic cinematic sequences, puzzle solving and good combat. Plus its bloody, gory and the boss fights are nutty. The storyline continues through out the series and was done amazingly well. definitely a series worth checking out.

Though most people say that Final Fantasy is the best (though it is good) here's what I think:
PS2: Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2
Xbox 360: Elder scrolls oblivian

PS2 i'd say Kingdom hearts1 or 2. Not entirely sure why, but they are the ones i've played the most above all others
360: i don't own one, but i'll be buying one when Blue Dragon is released on it!

i dont have a 360, but i do have playstation. i have to go with the legacy of kain series as a whole. its excellent. and final fantasy x is good too... ff xii would have been it, if it went off story alone... but the characters dont grab you like in final fantasys past games...another good combination is suikoden 4/ tactics. its like final fantasy tactics on steroids!!!
