If you just sit out in the sun for a while, you will get your daily dosage of vitamin D. Vitamin D is produced by your skin in response to exposure to ultraviolet radiation from natural sunlight.
Foodwise - cereals nowadays has vitamin D, you could eat fish such as salmon and drink fortified milk and soya milk.
The truth is, you get most of your daily vitamin D from sunlight and ingesting comes nowhere close to that amount.

According to my knowledge vit D is found in sun rays i.e. the light of sun. One has to just stay in sun and tan themselves to get loads of vitamin D. I donot know any source of food in which vitamin D is available.
