The Roosevelt is still operating as a hotel and there is a restaurant and pool-side bar.
You would be able to go into it and stroll around.
As you can in any large hotel.
You could eat at the restaurant or even stay at the hotel.
If you do make a reservation ask for the ninth floor, Montgomery Clift is meant to haunt it!
The address is:
7000 Hollywood Blvd
Hollywood, CA90028
Reservations, phone: 800.950.7667
or (323) 466-7000
You can also email for information to:

I have found this great site for you, lots of information about past and present guests and patrons:

The Roosevelt is an operating hotel. It wouldn't be any different than going into any large hotel in your home town. There are areas you can go into and others that you can't unless you work there.

Send them a message and ask if they offer any tours. Outside of that you are on your own.

I worked there several times on film sets for TV and Film. It is beautiful and reminds me of the same era in old Las Vegas where they kept the old strip.

Very art deco and the haunted feeling comes from the feeling of being in a time long ago... kind of like Steven Kings "The Shining" but in a good way.

I have no idea if you have to make an appointment to go in, but look it up on the Internet and get their contact information to find out... after all, Google.com can be your friend.
