*Lux or Lexy
"Lux" was the name of the girl who committed suicide in "The Virgin Suicides." I agree that it sounds like a stripper/porn star name. "Lexy" sounds like a nickname, not a real name. Maybe call her Alexa, Alexis, Alexandra, or Alexandria and abbreviate it to Lexy.
*Cindy
Go for Cynthia and nickname her Cindy, otherwise everyone's going to assume that she's an airhead.
*Tereza (Ter-ezz- uh)
This one's the best of the lot.
*Alice
This is a great name that is very underused these days. Give her a cool illustrated copy of "Alice in Wonderland" as soon as she's old enough to read :-)
Malicia (Muh-Leesh-uh)
No, no, no, DON'T inflict such an abomination on your child. The Latin prefix "mal-" means "bad' or "abnormal." This "name" is also only a few letters off from being "Malice." Not for nothing does Disney have an evil witch named "Maleficient" in one of their movies. "Malicia" is the name of a cartoon villainess, not a little girl who might want to be taken seriously as an intellectual one of these days.

Out of all of them, I like Alice probably the most, it is so classic. As for Tereza, it is unique and has a nice look. I am not so sure about Malicia, as it looks similar to malice, or evil. I used to have a terrible next door neighbor named Cindy, but otherwise that is a fine name...I am just biased. Lux is quite different, kinda reminds me of lox, the raw salmon stuff and lexy rhymes with sexy so I do not know about that. In the end, don't worry about what other people think, if you really love one of these names, then just go for it!!

I like the name Lexy but on the birth certificate you should have a more formal name like Alexa or Alex and call her Lexy. Cindy is boring (sorry). Tereza is pretty. Strong name. Alice is too old school like the housekeeper on the Brady Bunch. Malicia is not a good name because all words that start with Mal in the English language mean bad...such as malice, malformed, maladjusted.

Lux sounds like your kid is going to be a Lexus sedan.
Lexy sounds nice for a girl.
Cindy is alright.
Ter-eez-ah would sound nice, but I think Ter-ezz-ah would be mispronounced very often.
Alice is very Victorian to me. It's nice.
Malicia is bad. Kids will make fun of her because her name looks like malice. You could go with Alicia.
Good luck!

Lux makes me think of Superman.
Cindy and Alice are OK, but really common.
Malicia sounds too much like militia and malicious, both word I would not want associated with my little girl.
Tereza is not too impressive.
The only name I really like is Lexy.

The 1st rule is if you have to spell out the way you say it then it is going to be a pain for that child their whole life. I can't even tell you what a pain it is to have the name Jaime - I get so may Amy's, Jeanies, Janes, etc.
Lexy is nice, as is Alice - very pure and imagative.

I don't care for any of these...The first 3 seem like nicknames rather than "real" names. Alice is a bit dated. I don't care for Alicia so Malicia is definitely not my style.
Similiar names that I like are:
Leila
Alexandra (nickname Alex or Lexi)
Sienna
Cecily
Tessa
Taylor
Tara
Tatiana
Alyssa
Allegra
Ally
Elise
Elianna
Ella
Madalyn
Madison

I really like the name lexy, It's cute. Cindy is a little common. Tereza is a nice play on teresa. My Grandm' name was Alice so i am alittle partial. Malicia sound like Melissa only better. You get to decide. I took us until I had 2 months left to decide on Paislee for our daughter.
