It would have to be George Pal's 1960 production, "The Time Machine", starring Rod Taylor and Alan Young.
This movie's sense of the wonder of exploration, the cautions of a war-torn future, in the simple yet powerful bonds of friendship, and the search for alternatives to a present filled with pain, may have inspired thousands of young people who saw it when it first came out. Its power hasn't diminished over 47 years, and it's one of my five favorite movies of all time.

I could watch The Inredibles and Pleasantville for the rest of my life.

My guilty pleasure movie is She's the Man. I must've seen it at least 100 times, and I could watch it 100 more.
