It's given allot of men a ready made excuse, if not an expectation. to walk out on their families and fail to live up to their responsibilities to their children.

Well, for one thing, a married man cooking was almost unthinkable 50 years ago. But today, how many cooking shows or reality "cook-off's" do you see with mostly male participants?
