No. I dont think we need drugs, alcohol, crappy music and random sex. Theres a reason that hippies grew up and stopped being hippies

Not to such an extreme I don't believe. But I like the idea. Especially the way they excersize their freedoms. Are you a black girl? Cause if you are I'll start a hippie movement right now with some "free love" I'm all about a little jungle fever right now. J/K. Love you girl

not in all aspects. the drugs and 'free love' end up leading to death when they say they're promoting life by peace. so how about instead of everyone living like hippies or having a hippie movement, we all focus on a core aspect of life. love. you don't need drugs to feel that. peace would also be a plus...i'm not into the whole war in the middle east...but thats a whole different topic.

I don't even know you and I hate you. There aren't a lot of things in this world that I actually h-a-t-e HATE, but hippies are one of them.
Hippies are quite simply the scourge of my existence, and I hate them. I hate them because they are completely unproductive members of society. I hate them because they smell like month-old rotting pig anus. I hate them because they live in decadence, with no ambition or responsibility whatsoever. Someone needs to stop these people. They prey on the ignorant and vulnerable, appeal to their stupid and idealistic sides and turn them into hippies-in-training. They promise lives where you can mooch till you die, and they're always so stoned out of whatever minds they do have that they can't see how much dead weight they really are.
I hate you hippie bastards. You are quite simply the scum of the earth. I hope you all eat poisoned soybeans and die.

We already had a baby boom generation that talked a good game and then totally sold out- and has used their economic clout for the past 40 years to tell us how great they think they are and how much they love themselves-
So no- one generation of fools was bad enough, and we still haven't recovered from all their hypocrasy yet.
