I have anxiety about sirens and alarms but I don't hate it...for me it's just people going to try to help someone and I feel tense because it could be something terrible.
For me, my most hated sound is any repetitive juicy or crunchy human mouth sounds... slurping, sipping, swishing, squishing, munching, crunching, biting, clicking, open mouth chewing, chomping... I think it drives me INSANE because it can for the most part be controlled... maybe it's a lack of manners or consideration for others around them.
(I heard it's a compliment in some Asian cultures to slurp soup... to show how yummy it is. Well, I'm steering clear of that experience!)
When dogs eat like that it's fine I have no problem, but when people do it I go bananas and want to run screaming for the hills!
I'm a huge fan of dinner music just in case you're wondering. (grin)

My sister laying on the sofa taking a nap and snoring her freaking a** off. She totally snores like a dude and if you try to wake her she says something ridiculous in her sleep that makes no freaking sense at all like, "....did you clean the bottom?" or repeats something like "...yeah, okay okay okay okay okay okay..." Yeah, her snoring is the most hated sound for me.

Mine 's my neighbours hot tub .The pump has an annoying sound and it never quits. Then sometimes they get in and make noise and talk and holler all night long

One of mine is when someone calls me a name. Another is someone not doing a movie quote right. (Sometimes I can't do them right myself, but I keep on trying until I have it right.) But my least favorite is when the movie volume is turned up too loud or a book being thorwn in the trash.

My husband voice when he says these two words in a sentace... work late
that and packing peanuts against glass. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard
