your weight is perfectly average. don't make me tell your mom to stick it where the sun don't shine. if you're working out, too it's fine if you eat a little more. you are also pretty tall, and my guess is that you are about a sophmore or junior in highschool, correct? you are probably still growing too if that is the case. and even though she's your mom (i feel the same way about mine sometimes), you shouldn't let things like that bother you. just try to ignore it, especially if you know that you're normal. try to talk to your mom, too, so that she knows how you feel when she treats you this way. maybe she could get involved in your sports to see how active you are or you could help her make meals so you both know you're healthy. GOOD LUCK!!!
p.s--go edit your avatar, and turn that frown upside down!

I feel so bad.....just reading this. You are no where near overweight 1st of all. But what is really bothering me is your mother"s comment's...........does she have a weight problem? Or did she have one when she was younger? Something here is just not right.
I hope you will alway's love you, not just your body but all of you! And you must talk to your mom, if you cannot, then let her read this, I am a mother. I have a grown daughter, who I would think was beautiful no matter what she weighed, and she is not fat, but if she were heavier I know for sure she would still be as self confidant as always.
As parents we should be there to tell our children how beautiful they are inside and out! It is so important. So many young ladies R getting pregnant, and the real reason is they want love & attention. Then there are so many who are starving themselve's to death.....binge eating.....etc. killing themselve's everyday with all the above and drug use.
Please let your mother read this! She needs to be aware that this stick image is no longer in!!!!! Never was it normal, and as women we have been thru so much self image garbage!
The media is really the big problem....but now were seeing more and more, of a different point of view.
The most interesting to me..is most guys responded they do not find a women all bones attractive. We are way harder on ourselves and our bodies then the men are!
I want you to be a happy young lady, who is so self confident she need's no one's approval! You already know you are special.........Bless you!
Mom please read this, do not take this as a mother judging another mother, I am not doing that, it is really just advice.
I wish you and your family the best!

I sure hope that you are not making this up, cause if you are it's not funny...it's serious.
well, sorry to say this , but I think something is wrong with your mom, if you are 5'4'' and about 115 pounds thats like perfect I am 5'4'' also and I wiegh 130 , but I think I look fine and my mom to she tells me every day i look pretty, please dont let your own mom put you down stay strong. if you dont believe me, type in wieght chart on the search engine and find a good wieght chart site with bold letters and it will say your hieght ,and how much you are supposed to wiegh according to my BODY STURCTURE and hieght, I am supposed to wiegh 132 so I am eight pounds over who cares.

You are definitely normal! Infact, compared to alot of people you are probably above it! I go to the gym and work out etc, so I can eat what I want and stay looking good. Don't worry about her opinion. Just suck it up and bite your tounge since she is Mom, but don't let it get to you!

You are 115 pounds and your mom tells you to eat less? I'm sorry but that's bad parenting....I gotta call a spade a spade.

Is your mother over-weight? If so, she might be transferring her feelings of her own body image onto you. You sound like a very healthy, normal-bodied person.

YES!!! ur normal!!!! please don't let anyone make u feel bad about your looks. Eat healthy...when you indulge in a treat, don't overdo it , and exercise.
ps...it is healthier to eat 5-7 small meals a day instead of 3 bigger ones...

your weight is perfect for your hieght...any less and you would look like a rack of bones. Sounds like your mom has food issues herself.
