The islands like jamaica ,trinidad etc are represented in olympics and football as independent nations but when it comes to cricket they all combine and represent in the name of west indies. how this is possible. if west indies is a single independent nation with all these caribbean islands how it is possible for these islands to represent as a country in olympics and football.

The West Indies is an island group, not a country. You are mistaken in thinking it is an independant nation.

The individual island nations, some of which you mention, are often very small with low populations. Given the relative popularity of cricket (or lack thereof) around the world, it is not surprising that they might pool their resources when it comes to a cricket team.
