Well it is true their are 6.6 billion people, and 250,000 increasing by the day,on the contrary 249,900 used to die every day. Since Bush invaded Iraq, and Afghanistan, that number has gone up to 252,000. The Earth cannot technically feed more than 4 Billion, that is why 2.6 Billion starve. Also the Earth cannot inhabit more than 7 billion, or we would all melt do to global warming. That explains the extreme weather. You have a population boom in certain rural areas, where now your building more concrete buildings(Malls,Apartments etc..) and that traps heat.

There are already too many for this planet to hold comfortablly. But the max will keep going up with future technology. The number could go to 50 billion or more
