I took the "Equate" pregnancy test this morning and it was a faint positive, then again at lunch time and it was a little darker. Do you think it is a true positive?

Yes. It is very rare to receive a false positive. The hormone the test detects (HCG) is not produced in any amount when you are not pregnant so there would be absolutely no line when you are not pregnant. If you want to test again, using first morning urine to test with is a good idea b/c the HCG has had time to build up while you were sleeping. The longer it has been since you've missed your period the darker the line will be because the HCG amount will increase, so if you have only recently missed it then it is very normal for the line to be faint. Some brands of tests even say in the instructions that any line no matter how faint is a definite positive. You should probably go to a drs for a blood test to confirm the pregnancy. Best Wishes!

Yes...If there was a line in the test window and you read it within ten minutes then you are pregnant! Congrats and Good Luck!
