I'm a 19 year old guy. I have a best friend who I can talk to about problems. We have a lot of similarities that we can relate to each other because of. Here lately, I've noticed our connection that we are able to understand each other more than anyone else in the world. I've also started feeling like I LOVE HIM! It's nothing sexual about the reason I feel like I love him, just that we have that connection, but I'm not sure if I'm gay or not. It's really confusing.

Loving your friend is not being gay. It's a loving thing.
Tell him how you feel. If he is as good of a friend as you say he will atleast communicate with you about your feelings and whether a more intimate relationship is a possibility.

Your not gay based on this. Your a guy point blank... You do not as your gender doesnt seem to understand these things called FEELINGS. Anyways I think this must be like the first time in your life that you found someone guy or girl that you can really be comfy with and have no barriers. I think you are just caught off guard that you have such a close friend.. I wouldn't say anything because as you are he probably will mis interpret what you are feeling and that could ruin everything.. Just let the tide roll and see where you go

You have to ask yourself Do I love Him? or Am I in Love with him? There is a difference. You love your brother one way and you love your lover another way. I think though by taking the time to post this question there might be some sexual tension between the two of you.
If he is your best friend and you can talk to him about anything see what he says if you told him the truth. There is always joking around about it. Or you might see where a little horse play might take you. You never know what might just happen

I think you should go with your heart! If you love him then he would understand even if he doesn't like you back. Love can be between anything, your connection shouldn't be anything different if you are not gay. It's great to have a relationship as great as you guys because not many people can have that.

It really depends on what you feel, does he turn you on sexually, in the locker room do you want to jerk him off, when you jerk off do you think of him. Nothing wrong with this but it probably means you are gay or bi. If it is just his company and friendship you love then you are straight

No, I don't believe that you are gay...if you felt a desire to kiss and have sexual intimacy with him, then you may be. But, I think that you happen to have found a very close friend with whom you can share your deepest feelings and sometimes people misinterpret this to mean that you are attracted to someone of the opposite sex...I feel this way with many of my female friends, but this doesn't mean that I want to be sexual with them in any way. I think that you need to see if you feel this way towards other guys and then begin to confirm your sexuality...good luck buddy! :)
