GME make some great waterproof speakers and cd players and radios. There are submersible radios that you can get so if it capsizes the gear won't get wrecked. We have GME weatherproof speakers on the spreaders of our yacht and they are great, although all of the other gear that we have is pioneer.

Use quick release mounts and enough cord to put the speakers on the shore when you get out.
