ok, what is everyone's opinions on black prom dresses? i have a black dress, and it is kinda ballgownish, but not really really poofy. it is straight across with sparkles on top, spagetti straps. tight on top and poofs out on bottom. tie up back, but not too revealing. i have blonde hair. looks great on me, but what would that look like in prom pics when we're both in black. also, what color vest should he wear??

Go for it! Sounds like a real "one-of-a-kind" dress and you will really turn heads! Don't stop there! Try to find some long black gloves and consider a smoldering smoky eye with velvety plum undertones. Get him a sparkly black vest and purple bow tie. You guys will really rock!!

He should get a burgundy or dark moss green vest and you should take it and match a sheer shawl/scarf to his vest. It will brighten up your pics and look like you put an effort into matching your outfits.

OH SOUNDS GEORGEOUS!!!! Have your date wear a clasic white tux with a black shirt and a tie that is your faveorite color! It would look great!!!
