How do EVANESCENCE fans rate the OPen Door compared To fallen?

I like it a lot better, it is more layered and mature sounding, like they evolved as musicians. However, this crap about a bonus track annoys me...no way to reward a fan who got the CD in the first day it came out. I don't have that track.

I like both albums, but I think that with The Open Door they matured quite a bit. They have less computer-electronic noises in their songs which I like. And they have more of an orchestra sound in their new CD, which I think goes great with the piano, Amy's voice, and the band. I think overall the band sounds much fuller in the new album even though some of the band members left the band and new ones came in. However, my favorite song by them, My Immortal is from Fallen.

I like Fallen much more than Open Door. In Open Door too many of the songs sound alike.

The open door album is development in the bands skills as musicians and amylee as a vocalist although it lacks elements of the Fallen album its still amazing i love LIthium and sweet sacrafice. However it depends on my mood as to which of the two ill listen to as they are both so different. the first time i heard open door i hated it it just wasnt them but ive grown to love it.

umm they are both very good becuase i luv evenescene but i seem to take more of a liking to open door fallen sorta makes me depressed

I think they are both good, but different issues in both make them different than each other. My favorites are Haunted, Anywhere, Lies, Everybody's Fool. But I find that all of the songs from both album are great. peace.
