According to others the world should have already ended, therefor, I'm not going to put faith in your Mayan calander. No offence but...scientists say it's going to be long after our lifetime when the big one(whatever that is ) hits.

What do a bunch of strange people who ran around dismembering each other know? How can a world-ending natural disaster be predicted.. the Earth doesn't have an internal clock that tells it to combust or w/e Dec. 21, 2012.

absolutely not! Man..by the way, is the planets worst virus..and there will be sooo much more crime, perversions, wars, starvation, drought, global warming, atrocities and more horrors to come before we self(GOD) destruct. It won`t be in 2012 but I can gaurantee that if you are just having children now ..by the time you become grandparents..there will be little hope of a good life for them.We, the people are too blame for that.We were given a beautiful, bountiful planet and we have treated it like a trash can.

In my opinion, i think that humankind WILL make it just as long as we worry about our environment. Global warming is getting worse, and if we want humankind to survive forever and ever, then we got to start planning and thinking ahead. About the Mayans, I think that we know soooo much more than they ever did, and even if they knew something we didn't, our high tech super smart scientist people have to have figured it out by now.

I think the Mayans had to end it somewhere - probably just got tired at the end of a day..
That's the day my husband's suppoed to renew his license at the dmv.
