Who will be the division winners?? Buffalo and Anaheim have a bit of a gap against their rivals, and will be hard to overtake with few games to go. But in the atlantic NJ are just 4 points ahead of Pittsburgh, in the southeast Atlanta are just 2 points ahead of Tampa, Detroit and Nashville are seperated by 1 point in the central, and in the northwest, Vancouver, Minnesota, and Calgary are all seperated by just 4 points. Who will be the likely winners of the divisions?

Atlantic- New Jersey...Pittsburgh is making a run for it, but NJ has a stud in net, allowing the second fewest goals in the league
Northeast- Buffalo...with an explosive offense and solid goaltending this team shouldn't lose their lead over Ottawa. There are signs of slowing down, but this is mainly due to the number of injuries. Ottawa could come relatively close, but Buffalo won't blow it.
Southeast- Atlanta...Tampa Bay will make it close, the main thing for me here is I like the goaltending in Atlanta better. Very similar goals for and goals against between the two teams.
Central- Detroit...Hockey Town, USA will do what thy always do. Hasek is playing great, the team has the experience, and though Nashville is playing well, I see them slowing down towards the end of the season.
Northwest- Minnesota...this was the hardest pick for me with one point separating the top 2 teams. Vancouver is close, but doesn't have a very good offense. Tough to go against Luongo, but I'm thinking Minnesota has a slight edge.
Pacific- Anaheim...great mix of offense and defense and when they have their goaltending going this team can be scary. With an 8 pt lead, I can't see San Jose or Dallas catching them in 13 or 12 games respectively.

Atlantic-- New Jersey. I'll take the four point advantage this late in the season, especially if you have Marty.
Northeast-- Buffalo
Southeast-- Tampa Bay has 8 of their remaining 11 at home. Of TB's 3 remaining road games, they face Atlanta, Carolina, and Washington, they could easily win 2 of those the way they are playing. The only home games that I think TB will have trouble winning are against Ottawa, NJ, and Buffalo. Again, I see them winning 2 of those 3 since they are at home. They could easily finish up the year something like 8-2-1.
Central-- Detroit. They are playing well lately, and they have a point plus a game in hand.
Northeast-- Vancouver. I'm taking the point and the game in hand again.
Pacific-- San Jose. Oh wait, they have that stupid 1-point for an overtime loss rule. Never mind. Anaheim will win that one because they have 9 more OT losses than the Sharks. San Jose will somehow manage to finish the year with more wins, fewer losses, and a worse record than Anaheim. Go. Figure.

Atlantic: Devils ...the will keep their edge over the Penguins.
Northeast: Buffalo ....no contest.
Southeast: Atlanta ....Keith Tkachuk was a good (short term) investment.
Central: Detroit ....they will win the division and the Presidents' Trophy, its what they do.
Northwest: Minnesota ....they will slip past Vancouver and hold off Calgary.

NFC West, Seattle continues to be the class of the branch right here, inspite of the indisputable fact that Arizona ought to push a splash. North, I also have a suspicion that the Lions would make a destroy by way of this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days...this would additionally be the toughest branch for the 2008 season South, Saints ought to bounce back this season. East, Giants ought to take it using fact the Cowboys and Eagles fall off extra, and the 'Skins adjust to a clean coach. AFC West, Chargers back...yet purely for an added 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. North, Browns in the event that they save Anderson. If no longer, then the Steelers. South, Jaguars ought to overtake the Colts this season. East, please...Patriots are the only determination right here.

I say NJ holds on
Buffalo and Anaheim win theirs
Atlanta wins theirs because Tampa's goaltender's are to shaky
Detroit holds on , but that is a tough one
I like Calgary to finish strong and win their division
