i always go to his home town (his in qld im in melb)
and we see each other and instantly i feel secure, safe, loved, disarable well alot but in the dreams we always have to sneak around because im married. some small details change but its always the same senario we meet, have the most intense passionate affair and run away together.

i dont understand this we have known each other for nearly 10 years, he was my first love we have this wierd bond. we were together in high school then i moved really far away was in a new realationship and when i left this realationship i had a 1yr old and was 2months pregnant,i went back to our home town and seen him and he moved to melb and was there for me through my very rough pregnancy and custody battle he was there for alot, but after a we got engaged he become abusive and cheated (this is why we broke up)
im now married with another child. and i have recently been told my husband has been unfaithful plus i have a few health issues going on. BUT WHY WOULD I NOW DREAM ABOUT MY EX IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE????

It is very common for people to dream about ex-partners. Individuals that have been an important part of our lives continue to take up a part of our mind and heart. It is impossible to very dramatically shut the person out of thoughts and feelings. Just because the relationship ends does not mean that all is finished. You will continue to dream about your ex boyfriend until you "let go" of him on a very important level, or until you learned your lessons from that relationship. Either way, dreaming about your ex-romance does not predict future involvement. It may be wish-fulfillment, reliving memories, or working out old issues.

Isn't it funny its always the ones that treat us bad that we dream of? M have some beautiful exes, but none of them rate a thought, its the abusive, cheating mongrel that comes back. I think its just the effect of being in such an emotional relationship, it takes a long long time to get it over with

To your mind it makes perfect sense. You had a bond with your ex and your relationship with him helped to establish your identity. Now that your husband has done similar things, your subconscious mind is reminded of the first time it experienced this. In our minds, we almost always idealize memories so to your subconscious forgets the bad and pushes your dreams in that direction. Dreams of the past are safe as they hold no surprises for us.

As you say, it is only a dream. If you think you have no connection whatsoever with the ex-fiancee that just leave it. Dreams are meant to be forgotten and perhaps in your sub-conscious mind, you think of him. So that is fine because you have been together for what, 10 years. So it is natural. Don't worry and think so much on it. If you still think or dream of him, say a prayer for him. Maybe he needs it. Good luck.

I think it makes alot of sense....first loves have a way of coming in and out of our dreams because they are who we first thought would share many special occasions with...and when such occasions cross our path so do those memories of who you thought it would be and how it would be like...you seem to have a number of situations that probably triggered such a dream...because your relationship is falling apart again and not what you hoped it would be...and now that is on your mind and your beginning to carry it into your dreams what you hoped it would have been...good luck..may your dreams come true.

You have alot of stress it sounds like. The cheating part could be because u love this guy or it could manifest from your husbands cheating. It also could just be a normal dream or fantasy.

because your new husband has cheated on u and is not the man u thought he was, plus u are now sick, and this man cared for u and took care of u, so it is natural to have dreams maybe wanting to go back to a happier better time in your life. your wondering if u may have broken up with him too hastily.

actually it makes perfect sense.. you are having relationship issues and you are experiencing health issues. your ex was the person who was there for you during your similar experience right after you moved back to your home town. your subconscious is just merging the two events.

It means that you want the security with your ex that you long for. You have filled that void with other things until now but right now you long for the way you felt. You still may still harbor feelings for him that you dredged up.

you miss the sense of security, of being loved unconditionally. You deserve that. I am not saying that you miss your ex-fiance, i am saying you miss these things, and that's what you want.

you should look for these things in man and then you will find the one who truly belongs by your side.

not no scum bag who gonna cheat on you.....

Good luck!!!
