Sure, ALL people look different in some way. I can usually tell where a European American originated by certain differences in their faces. As I can with African Americans as well. You can tell different originations for everyone honestly.

British and Irish people look like their faces are flushed all the time to me, and very lanky. French people are a bit darker but also taller and lankier. Italian, Spanish, and Greek all look the same to me, and Slavic depends---there are the tall, pale ones and the short, dark ones that I've seen here. Scandinavians are much taller than I am and light, but I think Irish people are the lightest.
In Cherokee, there's one word for all of these---"yonega." It means light-skinned, but that doesn't make sense with the Mediterraneans (many are darker than we are!) In all, Europeans seem to be taller than we are too, and if they're dark skinned it has a sort of orange undertone to it. Ours is usually a true olive, containing the yellow or even green undertone. Some Native nations have reddish undertones, but it isn't like the dark Euros have.

European people can have different physical features from other Europeans and other citizens from different countries around the globe. This is due to the kinds of food one eats, how much physical activity they recieve, the climate they live in, and the life style of their parents and ancestors. This is a very simple scientific principle however I will not delve into deatils on it.

When a certain gene pool stays separate from other populations, those physical features tend to become more prominent. A great example of this are animals isolated on islands. The tortoises on the Galapogas Islands are unusally large in size because they were separate from the rest of the tortoise population. Also environment effects people's appearance too. Scandinavians tend to be much fairer than southern Europeans because they don't get as much sun and therefore have less pigmentation.

Considering that every single white person in the US has European ancestors, by your definition they shouldn't be called "white" either.
So, you've noticed a certain look shared by Greeks and Scots? The ancestral roots of these two nations couldn't be more dissimilar, so I assume it is simply your ignorance that is giving you poor eyesight.

Wow- Francine, you aren't racist at all.
I can usually tell the difference between eastern europeans and americans. They look sharper and a bit foreigner I think. As for Spanish, Greek and Italians, they look very distinctive obviously, with darker hair and skin. The irish and scots have light skin and red hair sometimes (not always). And the brits- they just look like regular white people to me.
