i know its different for everyone but i just want to hear other peoples experiences..im getting off the pill so thats the kind of bc i'm talking about...thanks for your answers!! just trying to get an idea :)

Well, I know exactly where you are comming from. I took the Depo shot for 2 years, and now I can't seem to get pregnant. They say that it can take anywhere from 6-12 months for any type of birth control to completly leave your system, although trust me, that time frame is different for everyone. The only thing that I can really tell you is just be patient and it will eventually happen. If you don't become pregnant within the next year, I would go see a doctor. Maybe there is some other underlying problem.

I was on the bc pill for four years and was told it could take 3 to 6 months, but it only took 2 weeks. LOL.

I got off the pill in April 29 2001. found out i was pregnant

Too bad I DID NOT get off the pill...I took some antibiotics while on the pill and that did the number on me. I three months along now.

my doctor told me that it would take up to a year for all the pill to be out of your system..example:: my cousin stoped the pill in dec and got pregant at the end of that month!!
