a threat to society?

what could make someone a threat to society and how can we deal with it?

Someone who doesn't have that little switch in their head that allows them to know that hurting someone, stealing, or cheating is bad is a threat to those who work hard and play by the rules. Their liberty extends up to the point where it infringes on that of someone else. Our answer... lock them up, with other like minded individuals.
Unfortunately, the "what could make" them be that way is a huge entended problem for society... like, we know drug use can lead to it, economic and social situations can lead to it... all large and difficult problems we are desperately trying to understand and help.

A redheaded woman wearing a kilt and seducing aliens to come to earth and breed with all redheaded women ... now THAT is what I call a threat to society. Be afraid .. be very afraid.

Look up the history of contagion. Ebola. Lassa fever. Smallpox. Influenza. Infantile paralysis. Hansen's disease. Malaria. SARS. Typhus. Pay special attention to the term "carrier". These all fall under the heading "public health". Look up the story of "Typhoid Mary". All of the above will scare the crap outa ya.

Anyone really who is against the "norm". It's hard nowadays to voice your own opinion. If society doesn't agree you're either a criminal or legally insane. Just a thought.

Isolation, open ridicule, make them invisible, with hold compassion, crush what little they may have. give disgusted looks if you do see them. Physically abuse them. Deal with it by smiling at them, stop to listen, encourage, forgive them for not being perfect, make a friend with them. defend them against others oppressions. Give them Love and let them know they matter. Treat them the way you would want to be treated. seems simple but not often done.
