why were my friends making fun of me when i wore my Lacoste shirt to school. I didnt realize they cost $70 maybe thats the reason they were saying the alligator symbol was a lizard. does anyone know why they were making fun of my bright yellow shirt?

i dont really mind them making fun of me thats what we do but i was just wondering why whenever i wore the shirt. some kid also told me "oh the sun came out today"

People im not feeling sad because of it. i have put on a black tie and i look freaking awesome i dont care if i look preppy i also look awesome because i have a fauxhawk and dont get it twisted im a guy

In my opinion possibly one of 2 reasons. 1 that the shirt is Lacoste and a decent make so jealousy could come in to it. 2 That it was bright yellow. Are they normally used to you wearing a little less outragous shirts? Hope this helps.

Do you go to a public school? First of all, "kids" in school are idiots. Secondly, the Lacoste brand is a symbol of money and a higher class, so if they made fun of you, they were either jealous or just being jerks.

First off if you don't have a tan, don't attempt bright yellow. Secondly they are probably jealous that you can afford a $70 shirt. Plus they probably don't have that great of taste. Srry they picked on you.

Maybe you're friends aren't into branded items. Why should anyone be wearing a logo that could feed a whole village in Africa for a day? You're friends are probably deeper than you think. Btw, aren't bright polo shirts so last year?

That's a good question, maybe because it was bright yellow. Just don't pay attention to them if they are bothering you.

Maybe they thought it was too preppy...kind of like a pretty boy...or they were probably thinking that you were metro... But i personally like that brand and it makes certain guys look hot if they wear it right! ^_^
