and would it be safe to have the cages on top of one another with the chinchillas in it ?

This website sells safe cage accessories including cuddle buddies for chinchillas. She is a chinchilla owner herself, so all of her products are tested out. I recommend a fleece tube!
Chinchilla cages can be stacked as long as it is done safely. I have most of my cages stacked 3 high. It's important to make sure that the cages are centered and not off balance in case your chins decide to party like rock stars. You don't want a cage to fall over!

I would think that a cuddle buddy is a friend with benifits. Some friends have more benifits than others (if you get my drift) As far as chinchillas, I have never seen cages on top of each other. I have seen shelves with cages on them two or three high.

A cuddle buddy? I guess it would be a stuffed animal. But my cat LOVES to cuddle. When I pick her up she puts her arms around me like she is hugging me, I call her my huggable.

A dog like a shi tzu or any small dogs that are lap dogs ! Mine love to cuddle and sleep with you if they all could !! my pekingnese love to be cuddleed and they like tummy rubs alot !! big dogs like it to but there sometime to big to cuddle !! p.s. Chinchillas don;t like to cuddle ! I have one !
