Is it ok for a teen to have sex at like 14 or 15? i was just wonderin cause i know ppl dat do dat and i just wanted to know others opinions...

i think it too young.. ive had the opportunity at your age... but i didnt take it... i didnt have sex until i was 17.

I had sex when I was 15. At the time I just wanted to do it "to get it over with" since all of my friends had lost their virginity already and I felt like an outcast. I am now 33 yrs old and regret it to this day. I am not saying to wait until you are married- I am saying wait until it means something. I don't even remeber the guy's name I gave my virginity to. How pathetic is that? I regret that I did not wait until I was older and in a serious relationship. 14 or 15 is way too young. Hormones will tell you that you are ready but trust me- mentally you are not ready.

i lost my virginity at 15. if i could take it back now i would in a heartbeat. you dont know it now, but your too young to have to deal with all the things that come with having sex. not to mention all the risks there are...emotional ones and physical ones like STD's. 1 in every 2 women will have HPV (a std that can turn into cervical cancer) the only way you can not be one of those girls is to not have sex. granted, you cant wait your whole life but the fewer partners the lower the risk.
just trust me...im 22 now and wish i knew at your age what i do now. good luck...its hard growing up.

No, I don't. I think people should wait until they are old enough to deal with having a baby (happens more often than not). They should wait until they are with someone that they really love. They should also wait until they have an education and are able to support themselves and take care of a child. At 14 you shouldn't be worried about sex.

I did when I was 14, but now that I think about it.... Definitely not okay. Those kids are still babies and they will do a lot of growing up in the next few years and they could really get themselves into something painful. They probably think they're all grown up but they really are not.
Also, when I was a kid I never realized how easily pregnancy happens. I don't think anyone did.

I was 16. I think that was too young though. I am a teacher and I hear my students at like 14-15 talking about having sex. They keep doing it younger and younger.

No its not ok. Especially not for girls, I know teenager love to convince each other that every one is doing it, but to tell you the truth sex for girls that age sucks. Its the guys that are trying to get with everything and anything. Girls that have sex that young are always considered sluts. always. So dont give in to those "know it all" teenagers that dont know sht. The most respected girls and also the girls all the guys wanted to really go out with (as opposed to just sex) were the girls that kept their virginity till about 18. Its true.

Hey there, Look, everyone knows that girls are not of legal age to be having sex till 16 yrs and guys 18yrs but ppl do it anyway, so legaly yes its wrong and the fact that you are only 14 or 15 means you are not ready, noone that age is ready for the commitment of a sexual relationship, You have to truely love a person to be sexually intimate with them, and i assure you that if you do decide to have sex now that the person you have sex with will not be the one whom you spend the rest of your life with, anyway if you do have sex please please please use protection, STD's and Pregnancy is not want anyone 14 or 15 yrs of age would want or could deal with, Goodluck

No,,because even with birth control,,you can get pregnant & you are not ready for all that.You have to be financially stable which you will be when you are older.And you will find a guy that is meant for you when you are older after kissing a few toads,,you will find your prince.Be selective,,you deserve the best,,when the time is right. ;O) No regrets.

see i personally feel thats not the right thing.. at this age when youve just began to know the real world.. its not right to take these decisions so fast.. yes i agree that teens do get attracted towards opp sex.. but one has to control his feelings... sex is a thing which can ruin your life.. its a wrong step to be taken by a teen.......

There is nothing wrong with it if you can accept everything that comes out of it
also use a condom and the pill
