They're called "John Lennon glasses". If you go to the optician and say you are looking for "John Lennon type frames" they will show you the round metal frame glasses.

OMG!!! I have John Lennon glasses. I asked my eye doctor for glasses and he asked what kind. I said John Lennon glasses and he showed me a whol catalog of them. I have like three pairs or glasses because my right eye is broken... so I wear John Lennon glasses... thats what they're called now. I have a pair of John Lennon sunglasses, too. I LOVE JOHN LENNON!!!

They are called John Lennons. they were around before Lennon made them popular, but didn't have that name. Just ask for John Lennon glasses, and anyone will know what you're talking about. His regular glasses were the same shape too.
